When do we recommend screen printing on T-shirts?

This technology is the most economic when we print a label, emblem or graphics consisting of only a few colors on at least 50 T-shirts.

Naturally we perform smaller orders too but due to the preparation prices the cost per piece will be higher.

What is the difference between direct and transfer printing?

In the case of direct screen printing, we print directly on the textile, while in the case of the transfer procedure, we print at first on a special paper and then it is transferred into the object to be branded.

Transfer printing is perfect for printing very thin lines and small details even on places that seem impossible (T-shirt sleeves, pockets, collars, baseball caps, ties).

How much do the T-shirts and the printing cost?

The cost of the T-shirts depends on their quality and quantity.

The cost of the printing depends on its quantity, the dimensions of the emblem and the number of the colors.

It is generally true that:

  • The larger the quantity of the branded objects is, the lower the cost per piece is
  • In case of more colors, the cost of the branding is multiplied as the cost of preparation for printing 2-3-4-5-6 colors is multiplied by 2-3-4-5-6 times compared to the preparation price of one color.

Is it true that it is more expensive if you print a light color on a dark basis?

Yes, because of the following reason:

To create a high quality graphics, that is, the colors completely cover the dark basis, multiple printing is required, which increases the costs.

What T-shirt colors can be used for printing?

Cotton or cotton-polyester T-shirts with any colors can be printed with almost any colors. Our clients determine the printing colors on a so-called pantone scale and we prepare the branding according to that.

What kind of data is required when asking for a quotation?

  • the quantity of the objects to be branded
  • in case of a T-shirt, its color and type
  • dimensions of the printing
  • location of the printing (front, back, sleeve)
  • name and number of colors to be printed
  • sending the logo, graphics, label to be branded

What format is required when sending an emblem, logo?

Logos, graphics consisting of more colors can be used the most easily if you send them in vector graphic format (.cdr, .eps).

For one-color prints, a high resolution 1 bit (black and white) bitmap image of any format might be suitable.

If you do not have a material suitable for printing preparation, our graphic artist colleague helps you to prepare it, and its costs will be specified in case of topicality.

How long does it take to prepare it?

The preparation time depends on our capacity at the time of the order but generally it is 5 working days.
